Our Summer Fit Camps at Arcata HealthSPORT start June 14. They are open to ages 5-12 years. We offer full days (9AM-4 PM), half days (9AM-1PM or 12PM-4 PM), as well as before and after care (7:30AM-8:45AM & 4:00PM-5:30PM). Choose between 5 days (M-F) or 3 days (T/W/Th)*. 3 half days: Youth member: $50, Parent member: $65, Community member: $75.
5 half days: Youth member: $75, Parent member: $90, Community member: $100.

5 full days: Youth member: $125, Parent member: $145, Community member: $165.

Get ready for a KICK-BUTT workout! Add to the fun by bringing a friend! This class will teach you how to safely and effectively use our equipment. You will even learn how to design your own workout. Open to ages 12–16. Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:30-4:30 PM. Starts Aug. 3, runs through Aug. 6, and Oct. 5 through Oct. 28. Small class size. Sign up now.
Hip Hop/Breakdancing for Kids
Dance encourages mental and emotional development, enhances motor skills, increases flexibility and helps develop muscles. Breakdancing gives kids a way to discover how their bodies move while also getting fit and having fun. Hip Hop/Breakdancing class is open to children ages 7-14. Thursdays 3:30- 4:25 PM with Rex.
Karate Kids
Karate builds confidence and self-esteem as well as respect, concentration and courtesy. Karate can help improve cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, balance, strength and overall energy. Karate Kids is open to children ages 7-14. Classes are held Mondays and Wednesdays 4:30 - 5:45 PM.
Swim Lessons
We offer swim lessons for everybody from infants to adults. Through our swimming lessons children learn water safety, improve their stamina, boost coordination and strength and build confidence. For more experienced swimmers, we have classes to teach children how to improve their stroke and posture. Swimming is a great, low-impact, cardio workout. Available Sunday - Saturday. Swim Team:

BabySPORT
Join BabySPORT and get fit and have fun with your little one (ages 6 months - 36 months).
BabySPORT Swim – You’ll interact and bond with your child in a fun environment that encourages social interaction with peers. Meets Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:00-10:30 AM.
Birthday Parties (Arcata & Fortuna):
HealthSPORT offers a healthy, fun space for family parties. Parties can be scheduled for 2—4 hour blocks on Saturdays and Sundays.

Youth Yoga
Yoga encourages self-esteem, self-motivation, postive body image. It teaches youth how to relax and focus, increases coordination, balance and body awareness. Yoga helps them become stronger and more flexible. Geared toward ages 8-18. Youth Yoga is offered Wed. from 4-4:30 PM.
Youth Conditioning
This weight room based class increases muscle strength and endurance. can enhance sports performance and encourages good fitness habits that can last a lifetime. Open to ages 8–18. Youth Conditioning is available Mon & Wed from 4:30-5:25 PM.
Fit and Fun Club
Our new Fit and Fun Club lets your children have fun AND get fit in a safe environment while you enjoy your workout. We offer age-appropriate, fitness-based games in a structured and fun atmosphere. Open to ages 2 weeks to 10 years. To learn more stop by or call Shawna or Kelsey at 725-9484.
Gymnastics
Gymnastics provides a solid foundation for overall fitness. It develops coordination, flexibility, strength and balance. It is a good basis for all sports including martial arts, swimming, diving and dance. There is a place for everyone in HealthSPORT's gymnastics programs, whether you want to learn a new sport, stay in shape, have special needs or plan to compete. Known for our safe and nurturing environment, our instructors are caring professionals trained to encourage you to have fun while participating in our motivating gymnastic program.
